PURPOSE:To improve the cruising performance of a cruiser at the time of high waves and position the center of buoyancy at the rear part of its hull by installing a submerged wing body in the shape of an inverted T in its cross section and stretching substantially fore and aft in its longitudinal section and forming a negative angle of incidence causing downward dynamic lift. CONSTITUTION:At the down side of a bow part a wing body 1 is attached through a strut 2, while a pair of rudders 5 and a pair of propellers 6 are installed beneath the bottom of a stern part. The wing body 1 is installed on the strut 2 in such a manner as to shape an inverted T, forming a flat plate being long fore and aft. Furthermore, the wing body 1 is fixed to the strut 2 in such a state that it is inclined downward in the forward direction relative to the base line B.L. running in parallel with the draft line W and therefore has a negative angle of incidence. By means of this, it is possible to restrain the vessel's jumping due to external wave force during its cruising at a high speed. Also since the center of buoyancy can be placed at a rear part, it is possible to shift the cabin or living quarters more to the rear part where the movement of the hull is lesser.
