PURPOSE:To utilize a printer and to simplify the constitution of a printer buffer device by switching the transmission line of an output device for plural printed data and sharing one printer with plural output devices. CONSTITUTION:Plural personal computers A and B are provided with buffer devices A and B, which are constituted of switch circuits 1A and 1B connected to printed data output terminals OUT1A and OUT1B, buffer circuits 2A and 2B connected to printed data input terminals IN1A and IN1B and switch control circuits 3A and 3B. One printer 4 is connected to the terminal OUT1A of the device A, and the terminal OUT1B of the device B is connected to the circuits 1A and 3A of the device A. Under the control of the circuits 3A and 3B of the devices A and B the circuits 1A and 1B switch the transmission line of the data of plural computers A and B, and the printer 4 is shared with the computers A and B, thereby utilizing the printer 4.
