PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned hydraulic engine which is small-size and lightweight and has a long service life by preventing the action of a strong pressing force and torsional force, etc. between the constitution parts by preventing the hydraulic static pressure from being directly converted to the turning monment of a torque ring. CONSTITUTION:A torque ring 5 having a plurality of inner static-pressure bearing mechanisms 4 uniformly arranged in the circumferential direction is fitted onto a pintle 1 arranged in eccentricity for an engine shaft core (m). The slidable surface 6 of a piston 12 is formed at the part corresponding to the inner static-pressure bearing mechanism 4 onto the outer periphery of the torque ring 5, and an outer static-pressure bearing mechanism 13 is formed onto the 12 engaged with the slidable surface 6. The both bearing mechanisms 4 and 13 communicate each other through a liquid-pressure introducing passage 31. Working liquid is introduced into the both bearing mechanisms 4 and 13 through the pintle 1, and a couple of force corresponding to the input and output torques is generated onto the torque ring 5 by the static-pressure action of the working liquid.
