PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of the fan in the caption by fitting one end part of a piezoelectric vibrator to a support member and also fitting a vibrating blade, made of synthetic resin with a light weight high modulus of elasticity, to the other end part of said vibrator. CONSTITUTION:One end part of a piezoelectric vibrator 1 is fixed to a support member 10, while a vibrating blade 13, made of synthetic resin with a light weight and high modulus of elasticity, is fitted to the other end part of said vibrator. Accordingly, whichever commercial power source of 50Hz, 60Hz is used for driving, the vibrating blade 13 is bent moderately to realize efficient sending of air. Further, since synthetic resin, with a light weight and high modulus of elasticity, is used for manufacturing the vibratory blade 13, it can be reduced in size and weight so that damage to the piezoelectric vibrator 1 can be avoided, and besides, high-frequency sound generated during sending of air can be reduced by utilizing high band screening characteristic of synthetic resin.
