PURPOSE:To prevent recording to recording paper of an erroneous size by providing a display section displaying the paper size for each printer to a reader section in a system applying image forming by means of one or plural printers based on an output of one set of reader. CONSTITUTION:A picture signal outputted from the reader section is applied to one or plural printers. In the picture processing system as above, a display section displaying paper size stored in each printer is provided to the operation panel of the reader section. The display section consists of a cassette/deck stage display device 722, a cassette size display device 715 and a size selection key 713. In selecting the multi-mode where one set of printer controls plural printers, every time the selection key 713 is depressed, the paper size stored in each printer and its storage position are displayed respectively on display devices 715 and 722.
