VALVE EQUIPPED WITH VALVE PIECE MADE OF SILICON CARBIDE COMPOSITE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To lightly and stably carry-out the fluid communication and cutting off operations by forming the slidable contact surface part of a valve piece from the porous silicon carbide sintered body having the opened gas holes in three dimensional structure. CONSTITUTION:The communication and cut-off of the passage of a fixed valve piece 13 is performed by the relative shift of a transfer valve piece 14 in the contact state with a fixed valve piece 13 by the operating lever 17 of a valve body 11. The slidable contact surface part of one among the fixed valve piece 13 and the shift valve piece 14 is formed by the porous silicon carbide sintered body having the opened gas holes in three dimensional structure. Further, the inside of the opened gas holes is filled with synthetic resin. Therefore, lubrication is performed by the synthetic resin positioned on the surface of the fixed valve piece 13 or the shift valve piece 14, and the smooth slidable contact is permitted.
