PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of flickers and surface roughness caused by parasitic capacity, by providing electric shield wires between arbitrary vertical scan lines and a photodiode which is connected to a vertical switch not driven by said scan lines. CONSTITUTION:Shield wires 20' and 30' are provided between horizontal output lines 100 and 200 connected to a photodiode, and vertical scan lines 20 and 30. A parasitic capacity generated between the photodiode 23 and the scan line 30 is thereby divided, through the shield wire 30', into two parasitic capacities 6'' and 6''' between the scan line 30 and the shield wire 30' and between the shield wire 30' and the photodiode 23. Moreover, one end of the capacity 6''' related to an electric charge in the photodiode 23 is connected to the earth through the shield wire 30' and turns to have a definite voltage irrespective of a field. Therefore, no absorption of a charge from the diode 23 occurs in the parasitic capacity 6. As the result, flickers caused by variation in black level in every field and surface roughness caused by the nonuniformity in the charge left behind readout of a signal charge do not take place, and thus a picture of excellent quality can be obtained. |
