PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a disk clamping device by utilizing the revolutions of a rotary cam to drive a clamper and also securing a contact between the clamper and the rotary cam by means of an energizing tool. CONSTITUTION:A clamper 34 is energized toward an arrow mark C by a coil spring 108. A rotary cam 115 contains a cylindrical wall part 123 and a cylindrical rotary cam part 125. Then a gear 128 of the part 123 engages a rack gear 50 of a tray 33 and at the same time a contact is secured between the part 125 and a cam follower 102 of the clamper 34. Thus the cam 115 is revolved for shift of the tray 33 and the clamper 34 by the fixed timing. This simplifies extremely the constitution of the drive part for both the tray 33 and clamper 34 and therefore improves the space effect for formation of an extremely compact drive part.
