PURPOSE:To improve response in the analysis of the composition of waste gas, by controlling a flue valve on the basis of the analyzed values of combustion waste gas passing through by-pass lines provided on the upstream side and the downstream side of the flue valve. CONSTITUTION:A sampling port 22 for combustion waste gas is provided on the upstream side of a flue valve 21 provided on a flue 20 communicating with a combustion furnace, and a by-pass line 23 provided with a discharge port 24 is provided on the downstream side of the valve 21. An air ejector 26 is provided on the line 23, and the combustion waste gas is introduced into the line 23 by a difference in pressure between the upstream side and the downstream side of the valve 21. The quantity of the gas to be introduced is controlled by the ejector 26. The waste gas within the line 23 is passed through a primary filter 31, an electronic cooler 32, a paper filter 33 and a flow meter 34 into an oxygen analyzer 29 and a CO analyzer 30 to analyze it. The analyzed value is fed to the control part of the valve 21 to output an operation signal, whereby the opening of the valve 21 is adjusted to thereby control the quantity of combustion air to be fed.
