摘要 PURPOSE:To surely select a passage in use and not in use of an intercooler, by providing a valve, which automatically switches the passage by a flow speed of air, in a new charge air path to the intercooler from a supercharger and an intake path bypassing the new charge air path. CONSTITUTION:Pressurized air from a supercharger 20 is switched by a new charge air selector 26 to new charge air for a low load use pipe 23 and a high load use pipe 24. When an engine is low loaded, blades 32, arranged at a predetermined angle for a flow or air, press a cam plates 35 in the bottom end part of the blade further with a slow speed of air, causing no strong turning effect to be generated, and a passage in a selector 25 communicates with the low load use pipe 23, cooling no new charge air. When the engine is high loaded, the selector 25 rotates by the blades 32, and the passage, communicating with the high load use pipe 24, cools the new charge air. If the spring 43 uses a transformation spring intensifying spring tension when it is at a high temperature, the blades 32 may be parallelly placed to the flow of air especially when the engine is high loaded.
