PURPOSE:To perform mooring work for a floating body in an easy manner, by piercing a pile through the floating body, locking it in time of a water level drop but releasing it in time of a rise in the water level whereby pushing the pile up to a support layer at the bottom of the water and, releasing it after the thrusting is over, then making the floating body free of vertical movements with the pile. CONSTITUTION:A pile 3 is pierced through a guide hole 3 of a floating marine structure 1. At that point that this pile 2 hits a weak stratum on the seabed and it comes to a high tide, the marine structure 1 and the pile are locked thereto. Under this condition, if it comes to a low tide and a water level of the surface of the sea drops, the pile 2 is thrust in the weak stratum as far as the dropped portion of the water level. Next, a lockup between them is released, and afterward this thrusting operation is repeatedly carried out. After this thrusting operation is over, concrete is placed inside the pile 2, locking the pile 2, while the marine structure is made free of vertical movements with the pile 2. Thus, the mooring operation for the floating marine structure is easily performable without using a mooring rope or the like.
