PURPOSE:To save fuel consumption and prevent the occurrence of knocking by changing the throttle valve opening and closing speed with functions of accelerator opening and closing speed and running condition in a control circuit for changing the opening of a throttle valve in an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A accelerator opening sensor 103 generates the accelerator opening signal 102. A throttle opening sensor 106 generates the throttle valve opening signal 105. Running condition detectors 111a-111x generate the running condition signals 110a-110x. In a control circuit 113 is controlled the throttle valve opening and closing speed according to the accelerator opening and closing speed and running condition. thus, the fuel consumption can be saved and the occurrence of knocking can be prevented.
