PURPOSE:To make it easy to establish the final grinding dimension and ground quantity of a work by freely rotating a grindstone with the edge of the grindstone where space between both the opposite edges of the grindstones becomes minimum as a rotational center. CONSTITUTION:A carrier plate 3 provided between surface grinding machines 1, 2 is pivotally mounted on a machine frame 4, and plural holes into which works are tightly inserted are drilled on its fixed pitch circle. A shaft 11 pivotally mounted on a movable stand 12 through bearings is equipped with a grindstone 10 on its one end and with a pulley 18 on its other end. A circular guiding projection 13a with a point e as a center is formed on a stationary stand 13, and a concave part 12a engaging with the circular guiding projection 13a on the stationary stand 13 is formed on the lower surface of the movable stand 12. Since the grindstone 10 is rotated with the point e as a center, and an inclination angle theta1 is therefore changed, space between the grindstones is constant.
