PURPOSE:To improve the operability by reading a read image drawing by an original reader, and providing in parallel a touch panel type indicator for displaying said drawing, a function key for assigning a function, and a menu sheet which has converted a picture pattern, etc. to a menu, on the same operating surface. CONSTITUTION:A start signal is sent to a computer 1 by operating a starting key of a function key 13, and system information is displayed. Based on this display, a drawing original 10 is set to an original reader 11. Subsequently, by operating the key 13, the original 10 is inputted as an image data by the device 11, and displayed on a touch panel indicator 12. By the key 13, an instruction for converting the image data to the drawing data is inputted. After depressing a segment input instruction key of the key 13, a segment is inputted by touching a coordinate of a start point and an end point on a segment graphic of a read image drawing 15 on the indicator 12. Also, a picture pattern placed on a menu sheet 14 is selected by a touch operation, and displayed in a picture pattern position on the drawing 15 on the indicator 12.
