PURPOSE:To enable to form an even metallic vacuum evaporated film, by fixing metallic fine powder over the surface of a bead glass, spattering the heated metallic fine powder on an electron gun in the condition installed at the neck of the bulb, and fixing a metallic vacuum evaporated film on the inner surface of the neck and over the surface of the bead glass. CONSTITUTION:After an ink, made by kneading a metallic fine powder with a binder, is printed at specific positions on a bead glass 20 to form a print pattern to be spattered easily, the print pattern 21 is printed by baking up. By using the bead glass 20 formed with the print pattern 21 in such a way, an electron gun is assembled with the print pattern 21 outside, and a color cathode-ray tube is made up. After that, by high frequency heating from the outside of the neck, the print pattern 21 is spattered to fix a metallic vacuum evaporated film at the inner side of the neck and over the outside surface of the bead glass 20. Therefore, an even printing of the print pattern 21, and the printing on the way of manufacturing process of the bead glass are possible, as well as a number of printing at a time can be performed.
