PURPOSE:To fraction and sample a highly pure components free from mutual fixing thereof, by having a liquid separating agent of the upper layer made of material smaller than that of the lower layer in the floating velocity during the centrifugal separation. CONSTITUTION:A liquid separation tube is made up of at least two layers of liquid separating agents, upper and lower ones housed into the bottom of a tube adhered closely together. The upper layer of the liquid separating agent 2 made less easy to float during the centrifugal separation as compared with the lower layer of the liquid separating agent 3 by such a adjustment as making the specific gravity or viscosity larger or making the thixotropy less easy to take place. Thus, after a certain degree of centrifugal force is applied, the lower layer of liquid separating agent 3 will work to push up the upper layer of liquid separating agent 2.
