PURPOSE:A gasifier that is formed by allowing the major body of gasifier comprising a combuster, diffuser and reductor which are made with water-cooling walls to be built in a pressure vessel, thus enabling the feed nozzles for the fuel and the gasifying agent to absorb the difference in heat expansion and prevent burning damage. CONSTITUTION:In the gasifier which is composed of the major body of the gasification furnace containing three components, combuster 1, diffuser 2 and reductor 3 and being surrounded with water-cooled walls and of a pressure vessel 5 including the major body, a fluid feeder 17 is set so that it comes through the pressure vessel and the water-cooled wall 4 and the through parts are gas-sealable. The feeder 17 is equipped with a means for absorbing the difference in thermal expansion between the wall 14 and the vessel 6 (flange 20, 24) and another means for absorbing the difference in thermal expansion between the pressure vessel 6 and the pipe connected to the feeder 17 outside (coupling 25). Further, the fluid feeder 17 is equipped with a water-cooling jacket 26 at its top end.
