NEW MATERIAL:An alpha-1-4C alkyl cinnamate having one or two substituent groups of triterpene alcohol on the benzene nucleus, or a benzoic acid ester or cinnamic acid ester having two substituent groups comprising 1-4C alkoxy group and nitro group, amino group, acylamino group, etc., on the benzene nucleus. EXAMPLE:Cycloartenol-3-methoxy-4-propionyloxy-alpha-methyl cinnamate. USE:Antihyperlipemia. PREPARATION:The objective triterpene alcohol organic acid ester can be produced e.g. by reacting (A) triterpene alcohol with (B) acid halogenide of (i) an alpha-1-4C alkylcinnamic acid having one or two substituent groups on the benzene nucleus or (ii) a benzoic acid or cinnamic acid having two substituent groups comprising 1-4C alkoxy group and nitro group, amino group, or acylamino group, etc., on the benzene nucleus.
