PURPOSE:The title soil disease-combatting agent that contains, as an active ingredient, an alkylbenzene sulfonate salt, thus showing high controlling effect on infectious soil diseases, especially clubroots in Cruciferae vegetables such as Chinese vegetable and cabbage to grow healthy vegetables, resulting in in creased harvest. CONSTITUTION:The objective agent contains, as an active ingredient, a salt of an alkylbenzenesulfonic acid of formula I (R is alkyl; M is 1, 2; M is alkali, alkaline earth metal, ammonium, organic amine). It is practically applied to a wide area of crop fields in the form of dust, granules or fine particles. The does is 0.5-10kg- per 10 ares based on the active ingredient.
