MOLDING ZEOLITE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To prevent cracking occurring in molded articles and improve mechanical strength, by adding sepiolite and/or attapulgite in a specific proportion as a binder to zeolite. CONSTITUTION:A molding zeolite composition formed from 100pts.wt. (based on the anhydrous state) zeolite and >=10pts.wt. sepiolite and/or attapulgite. Molded articles obtained by kneading the composition with water, and extruding the kneaded material have improved mechanical strength without causing cracking.
