MANUFACTURE OF CORRUGATED FIN WITH LOUVER

PURPOSE:To prevent deformation of fin shape after forming louvers and to improve quality by forming largely tilted louvers by passing a bandlike thin plate through a couple of forming tools and giving the louvers a tilt angle being after manufacturing completion using a couple of shaping rolls. CONSTITUTION:A bandlike thin plate 9 is passed through a couple of forming tools 14a and 14b provided with many edges having a large tilt angle theta1 on the periphery and meshing with each other like gears and is formed into zigzags. Louvers are formed to have the tilt angle theta1 larger than the theta2 being the louver tilt angle being after manufacturing completion of corrugated fins. Next, the zigzag metal plate 16 is supplied between shaping rolls 15a and 15b meshing with each other like gears to press the louvers in the counter direction to the forming direction of the louvers and to make the tilt angle theta1 into the tilt angle theta2 being after manufacturing completion.
