PURPOSE:To satisfactorily maintain the contact condition of a contact surface by arranging a cleaning rotary brush and a gas injection nozzle on the contact surface between a slip ring and a commutator. CONSTITUTION:A slip ring 1 is coupled with a propeller shaft X, and a commutator 2 is fitted on the side periphery of this slip ring 1. A gas injection nozzle 3 is provided near the commutator 2 and propeller shaft, and air is sprayed to the side periphery of the slip ring 1. A rotary brush 4 is provided on the opposite side of the shaft rotating direction of the nozzle 3so as to clean the contact surface of the slip ring 1. In addition, a cleaning water injection nozzle 6 is arranged near the brush 4,and steam or warm water is injected to improve the cleaning effect.
