摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a satellite communication system with high reliability without increasing a communication time by utilizing the difference between physical properties of electromagnetic waves of different bands to control the communication. CONSTITUTION:The communication is controlled by utilizing the difference between physical properties of electromagnetic waves (including light, X-ray and gamma-ray of >=2 kinds of different bands. When error information is detected by an earth station 10, a laser transmitter 210 transmits a communication control signal 220 in matching with the state of the error information from a communication control antenna 230 of the earth station in the form of a laser ray 170 propagated at higher speed than a radio wave for information transmission. A communication control antenna 240 of a communication satellite 100 receives the laser ray 170 from the earth station and sends a transmission stop signal 265 to a transmission shut device 270 corresponding to a frequency identified by a control signal identification device 260. Further, the shutter 270 shuts a signal 155 amplified by a transmitter 150 to stop the transmission from the communication satellite 100 to the earth station 10 when a transmission stop signal 265 is inputted.
