PURPOSE:To omit an ordinary mechanical electric contact and to improve the reliability of a camera by checking the operation of an operating member by a signal indicating the operation of a movable member. CONSTITUTION:A hole 21a of a printing plate rotor 21 unitedly formed by the operating member and the movable member is pivotally supported by engaging with a structural member, a coil-like conductive pattern 21 is drawn on a vibrating arm on one side and the conductive pattern is connected to a control circuit through a lead wire. Current can be supplied to the conductive pattern part in both direction by the control circuit, a magnetic circuit is constituted of a york 22 and a permanent magnet formed through the coil part and rotating force in both the directions is generated in the rotor on the basis of Lorentz force by making the current flow into the coil-like conductive pattern. Since the rotating direction of the rotor 21 is changed in accordance with the current flowing direction, rotating force is applied to the rotor 21 both the CW and CCW directions by a current direction switching means. Consequently, the operation of a shutter AF and a winding mechanism can be detected.
