PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material prevented excellently from browning, as well as from hue change, yellow staining, and deterioration of color formation of a coupler by incorporating a specified compd. CONSTITUTION:The compds. represented by formula (I) and/or (II) can be incorporated alone or in combination with generally known couplers, or a colored coupler, a development inhibitor releasing (DIR) coupler, or a colorless product releasing (weiss) coupler. It is preferred to remove soluble salts from a silver halide emulsion, but the emulsion contg. them can be used, and a mixture of >=2 kinds of silver halide emulsions separately prepared can be used. |
