PURPOSE:To obtain a proper emitter coupling type multi-vibrator using a system for compensating by itself the dispersion of oscillating frequency generated when an oscillator is completely built in an IC by using a pair of the variable capacity diodes connected in series in the reverse direction and applying a control voltage to its center connection part. CONSTITUTION:The anode sides of the variable capacity diodes 17, 18 are coannected in common and the cathode sides are connected to the collector of a transistor (TR) 6 and the collector of a TR 7 respectively. It is preferable that the characteristics of two variable capacity diodes 17, 18 are completely the same. If a voltage V20 satisfying the formula (16) is applied from a terminal 20, voltage Vj shown by Vj=VCC-2VBE-V20 (>0) is aplied to the two variable capacity diodes 17, 18 always in the reverse direction. Thereby, the capacity values of the diodes, 17, 18 can be changed by changing the voltage V20 applied to the terminal within a range satisfying the formula (16), changing the oscillating frequency of the circuit.
