PURPOSE:To obtain a voice recording avoiding the wasteful use of capacity of voice recording memory by providing a displaying part which displays a signal concerning remaining capacity of voice recording memory after a specific time since the beginning of recording to the voice recording memory. CONSTITUTION:The voice recording memory which has the capacity corresponding to one track magnetic disc is installed inside a camera body 2. When the first step of shutter is turned on, the voice caught by a microphone 4 is once recorded on the voice recording memory. When the collecting sound time exceeds the recording capacity of the voice recording memory, voices recorded overflow in first-in first-out basis. When the first step of the shutter is turned off, the voice recorded in the voice recording memory is transferred to the magnetic disc. Light emitting displaying means 8 installed in the camera body 2 is lit by the turn-on of the first step of a shutter button 5. As the rays of light are put out when the recordable time of the voice recording memory has elapsed, a user can record the desired voice as far as this light is on.
