PURPOSE:To obtain an erosion-resisting film excelling in adhesion by subjecting the base material surface to lamination composite coating with Cr or Ti and then with CrN or TiN by vacuum deposition. CONSTITUTION:Cr or Ti is vapor-deposited by an ion plating method, for example, on a side 6 of a low-pressure side turbine blade 1 of a steam turbine, with which water droplets in steam collide, and then ceramic of CrN or TiN is vapor-deposited on the above to form a composite film 7. This composite film 7 enables the prevention of erosion by collision of water droplets.
