发明名称 ANISOTROPY MEASURING INSTRUMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To make possible the exact measurement of anisotropy even if the degree of the anisotropy is small and to improve the reliability of the measured value by passing pulse currents to each of plural pieces of directional signal transmitting and receiving coils and generating the transersal ultrasonic waves oscillating strongly in the respectively separate directions in the DC-magnetized part of a metallic material. CONSTITUTION:DC is supplied from a DC power source 6 to an excitation coil 3 to impress a magnetic field to the metallic material P. The pulse currents are passed from a pulse current generator 7 to generate the transversal ultrasonic wave oscillating in the specific direction in the DC-magnetized part of the material P. The plural directional signal transmitting and receiving coils 4, 5 are provided to the part where the DC magnetic field is impressed to receive the transversal ultrasonic waves. The coils 4, 5 are provided in such a manner that the respective transversal ultrasonic waves face the respectively separate directions. The detection by each specific direction of the transmitting and receiving coils is thus made possible and the exact and quick detection of the anisotropy of the metal having the small degree of the anisotropy is made possible. Since the measuring points of the transmitting and receiving coils can be made at the same point, the exact measurement of the finish rolling temp. is made possible.
