PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid separation apparatus excellent in heat resistance and chemical resistance, generating no stagnation of a liquid, capable of reducing the flow amount of a raw liquid and reduced in power cost, by laminating a large number of plate-shaped filter bodies each having a large number of grooves formed thereto to the side surface of a ceramics porous body. CONSTITUTION:A large number of filter bodies 1, each of which comprises a ceramics porous body formed by sintering fine particles comprising alumina and has a large number of fine grooves provided to the side surface thereof in an up-and-down direction, are laminated between a fixed side end plate 4 and the movable side end plate 6 pressurized by a clamping cylinder 5 and integrated under pressure. The raw liquid from a raw liquid supply pipe 18 is flowed in the liquid supply chambers 10 formed by the grooves of the filter bodies 1 and packings 2 through the piercing holes 14 of packings 3 and the raw liquid supply holes 8 of the filter bodies 1 and a part thereof is filtered by the filter bodies 1 and only the transmitted liquid is flowed in the transmitted liquid discharge chambers 11 formed by the grooves of the filter bodies 1 and the packings 3 and discharged from transmitted liquid discharge means 13. The remainder of the raw liquid is transferred to the adjacent unit through raw liquid outflow ports 9 and through-holes 15 to be filtered in the same way.
