The inside machining limit and the outside machining limit are defined for the machining region of a workpiece. For example, in an end mill mount machining process, the outer edge of the workpiece is the outside machining limit and the outer edge of the mount is the inside machining limit. The surface machining processes classified into fundamental machining patterns are, a face mill machining process, an end mill plane machining process, an end mill mount machining process, a pocket end mill machining process, a pocket end mill valley machining process, a pocket end mill mount machining process, and an end mill solt machining process.
