PURPOSE:To collect continuously the trace information in an optional microprogram instruction by providing a control circuit to stop the clock of an external control circuit while a microprogram to collect the trace information is executed. CONSTITUTION:A flip-flop 12 in the trace shows that the microprogram for collecting the trace information is executed, is set by a control circuit 11 to control gate circuits 9 and 10 in accordance with the contents of a control circuit 6, and reset by a microprogram instruction control circuit 3. An external control circuit 13 is energized by the microprogram instruction control circuit 3, and executes automonously the interface timing control, etc., with other device. Namely, the action of an external interface control circuit 13 is frozen while the information collecting actin is executed, after collecting the information, the action of the external control circuit 13 is restarted, thereby, the abnormality due to the control timing change, etc., is prevented.
