PURPOSE:To periodically confirm the operating states of a master station and a slave station by providing a dummy operating means which operates in the same response action as an installed appliance. CONSTITUTION:Same as a controller CU selects an installed appliance EQ, a selecting signal which selects a dummy operating means DP is outputted and the selecting signal is sent from a master station MS to a slave station SS. A selection response signal which represents the completion of the selecting operation of the dummy operating means DP is outputted from a central control part PU in the slave station SS and the selection response signal is transmitted from the slave station SS to the master station MS and whether the selection response signal is to be inputted to the controller CU is judged. Thus, by utilizing the dummy operating means DP and outputting a control command from the controller CU in a regulated period, the operating states of the master station MS and the slave station SS are periodically confirmed with the presence/absence of the inputting of the response signal.
