PURPOSE:To improve the splice strength of an armature coil and a commutator segment by splicing the armature coil and the commutator segment by a hard solder welding. CONSTITUTION:When a large current is applied to lead parts 9a and a commutator segment part 11c through positive and negative electrodes 21b and 21c, Joul heat is generated by this current application and a splice part of the two lead parts 9a and one splice part of the lead part 9a and the commutor segment part 11c are heated by the Joul heat and solder material 18 and 19 is melted by this high temperature and fills the gaps of the splice parts so that the two lead parts and the lead part 9a and the commutator segment part 11c can be spliced. In this case, as a splicing groove 11 is filled with hard solder material, the welded area of the one lead part 9a, the commutator segment part 11c and the hard solder material can be large and a high splice strength can be obtained.
