PURPOSE:To stabilize the surface pressure, in a xerographic copying machine having splittable body, by constructing such that the surface pressure of a pair of limiting rollers is adjustable. CONSTITUTION:A nut 38 is rotated in the arrow directions 41, 42 to move a male screw 36 in the arrow directions 41', 42' thus to increase/decrease the tensile force of coil spring 33. In such a manner, the pressure contacting force between a rubber roller 11 and a metal roller 12 is regulated. With such structure, unbalance or unstableness of the limiting rollers 11, 12 is corrected resulting in stable paper feed.
