PURPOSE:To inhibit generation of coating unevenness and to facilitate post stages by transporting a compsn. in a tank with a first roller and making the thickness of the compsn. to a fixed thickness with a scraper of a second roller provided in parallel to the first roller. CONSTITUTION:In a coating device used for the prepn. of a rotor of a stepping motor, etc., the coating device comprises a holding device for work and a coating device. The coating device is provided with a first roller 133 for transporting a photosetting resin compsn. in a tank 12 and a second roller 134 with a fixed space between the roller 133. Thus, the thickness of the photosetting resin compsn. on the surface of a work 2 conveyer to the second roller is regulated to a fixed thickness with a particular scraper 143. Thus, the photosetting resin compsn. can be coated automatically to a fixed thickness being held at deformed condition. Therefore, succeeding stages for irradiating with ultraviolet rays and grinding are extremely facilitated.
