PURPOSE:To obtain prefoaming particles of high foaming ratio, by taking out prefoaming particles of a specified times by amt. as much as a required amt. for one operation from a pressure tank into an intermediate hopper, by weighing a required amt. for one foaming operation and by taking the amt. into a weighing hopper. CONSTITUTION:When prefoaming particles of a specified amt., i.e. 1.0-1.9 times as much as a required amt. for one operation were taken out from a pressure tank 1 into an intermediate hopper 6, a switch valve 7 of the intermediate hopper is opened and the prefoaming particles were weighed by means of a load cell 8 during falling down and the prefoaming particles of a required amt. for one foaming operation are transferred into a weighing hopper 9. Then, the valve 7 of the intermediate hopper is closed and a switch valve 10 of the weighing hopper is opened and the prefoaming particles in the weighing hopper 9 is thereby transferred into a foaming tank 5, where the prefoaming particles are heated under stirring and thereby foamed to a foaming ratio of 1.3-5 times as much as the former foaming ratio. |
