PURPOSE:To increase the speed of printing as well as raise the quality of printing by permitting printing to be performed even under the condition that vibration remains by a method in which control is made on a real time basis on display position of CRT by data for correcting biased amounts of a projection lens by moving the display position on a cathode-ray tube (CRT) which are added to data of offset from a display reference point. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition that a projection lens 3 is stopped at L1, letters to be printed on a printing area are properly displayed and printed on CRT1. When printing on the printing area P1 is ended, the lens 3 is moved to L2 are properly displayed and printed. By repeating such operations, printing for one line is made. If display is possible on CRT1, printing could be made for plural lines at a time.
