PURPOSE:To enable a more uniform sintering and to enhance the yield by drilling holes in the upper layer of starting materials for sintering charged into the pallet of a sintering device and by carrying out sintering. CONSTITUTION:Plural holes 3 of <= 10mm diameter and 50-400mm depth are vertically pierced with a drill in the surface layer of a bed 2 of starting materials for sintering charged into the pallet 1 of the sintering device. Sintering is then carried out.
