PURPOSE:To realize labor-saving and efficient buoy installing work, by furnishing calliper type hold arms to hold a buoy through a pair of arms each swaying freely up and down at the tip of a horizontal rotary arm pivotted at a buoy installing boat. CONSTITUTION:On the deck 3a of a buoy installing boat 3, the base of a horizontally rotatable arm 5 is pivotted through a rotary post 4. At the tip of the arm 5, a rotary arm 9 and an elbow arm 13 which can each swing freely up and down are pivotted, and at the tip of the elbow arm 13 are furnished a pair of calliper type hold arms 17. At the end of the arm 17is furnished a vacuum type absorber 28 to hold the trunk 2a of a buoy 2. When the buoy is installed, the buoy 2 can be fixed stably at the boat side, and the buoy installation can be performed efficiently. Therefore, a conventional small working boat is unnecessary, and labor-saving can be also realized.
