PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight, easy handling, and rustless roof beam, by forming leg panels of L shape section at both sides of an upper panel, as well as forming the both sides of the upper panel into projecting flanges projecting outward, and making all components of aluminum alloy and a synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:At the lower surface of both sides of an upper panel 41 are formed vertical leg panels 42 with an L shape section, opposing each other at the same height longitudinally. Furthermore, flanges 43 are formed projecting outward at the both ends of the upper panel 41. The upper panel 41, the leg panels 42, and the flanges 43 are made unitary, and made of aluminum alloy and/or a synthetic resin. Moreover, they are formed in a square section, without large difference between the width w except the flanges 43 and the height h. Therefore, compared with a conventional wooden work, it is lightweight, easy handling and rustless. By furnishing flanges 43 at both ends of the upper panel 42, workers can walk over the upper side of the beams, and an improvement of safety can also be realized.
