PURPOSE:To simplify circuit constitution by extracting a positive polarity data and a negative polarity data respectively from the 1st and 2nd bipolar code data sent from a sending end and detecting whether or not they are coincident. CONSTITUTION:The 1st bipolar signal 1 is compared with reference voltages -1, -2 by a positive data extracting circuit 5 and a negative data extracting circuit 6 and its output is fed to flip-flop FFs 8-2, 8-3. The 2nd data is compared with the reference voltage -1 by the positive data extraction circuit 7 and also to the FFs 8-2, 8-3 via a delay circuit 8-1 of 1/4 clock period. Then the value of the pulse leading point is outputted and the result is outputted through a NOR circuit 8-4 and an integration circuit 8-5. When the input data are coincident, the said output is 0. When the polarity of the bipolar signals differs by 180 deg.C, the output of the circuit 8-1 and the output of the circuit 6 are compared and the procedure is the same as above.
