A signal read out from the array sensor S is stored at a memory M through a multiplexer 7, a pre-amplifier 8 and an A/D converter 9. After the storing of data to the memory M is completed, the data at the memory M is read out in order from an area 1 and the Fourier transform is applied on the data by every area at a Fourier transformer 10 and the result is stored at each area of 11-1m of the memory M and with reading out the data in order and displaying it on a CRT, an original image is reproduced.
