OPERATING METHOD FOR WALKING BEAM TYPE HEATING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To eliminate skid marks by decreasing the temp. difference between the skid parts and non-skid parts of materials to be heated simply by vertically moving the movable skid beam on the ejection side of a heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:The materials 7 to be heated charged through a charge port 2 into the heating furnace are alternately placed on the stationary skid beams 5 and movable skid beam 6-1 by the rectangular motion of the movable skid beam 6-1 by which the materials are advanced. Only the forward and backward motion of the movable skid beam 6-2 on the ejection side is executed simultaneously with the movement of the movable skid beam 6-1. The material 7 entering the region of the movable skid beam 6-2 is repeatedly moved up and down by the vertical movement of the movable skid beam 6-2 except the forward and backward motion and is alternately supported to the stationary skid beams 5 and the movable skid beam 6-2.
