The present invention relates to a calcium-added magnesium alloy and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a magnesium alloy having improved corrosion resistance and biocompatibility by adding calcium (Ca) to a Mg-Al-Zn-based alloy, relates to a manufacturing method thereof, and relates to an implant comprising the same. According to the present invention, the magnesium alloy is manufacture by adding the Mg-Al-Zn-based alloy, thereby increasing the biological activities of the magnesium alloy and increasing the corrosion resistance by the formation of (Mg, Al)_2Ca. A natural oxide film and apatite are formed in a stable and rapid manner when being buried in the body, thereby being used as a bioabsorbent material. |
