The present invention relates to a method for caching content, and more particularly to a method for caching content, which can determine whether address information of a content provision server is valid before caching content to be transferred from the corresponding content provision server to a terminal, and which can cache the content only when it is determined that the address information is valid. The present invention also relates to a cache apparatus for the method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method for caching content, which is performed by a cache apparatus disposed between a content provision server providing content and a terminal requesting and receiving the content, the method comprising the steps of: detecting, by the cache apparatus, content to be transferred from the content provision server to the terminal; identifying, by the cache apparatus, address information of the content provision server providing the content; and caching, by the cache apparatus, the content when the identified address information of the content provision server is included in valid address information which can be cached. |
