This invention relates to lead glaze which is composed of 100 wt. part of siliceous clay, 350 wt. part of dust obtained from lead refinement and 1000 wt.part of water. The silicon oxide content of the siliceous clay is 93%, and the lead sulfate content of the dust is 97%. The lead glaze is spread on clay groudwark, and then dried. This is heated at 1100 - 1200≦̸C to give lustrous ceramics.
