Arrangement and method for generating images on a projection surface

Attractive distortions of still or moving images which are produced by at least one projector (PR) are generated by projecting these images onto a multifaceted body, eg. a cube (WF). The cube (WF) is set rotating for this purpose with the aid of a motor (MO). An image projected from the projector (PR) onto the cube (WF) starts in each case strongly distorted at the edge of the cube, goes over to normal image rendition as the cube rotates towards the projector, and dissolves once again as the cube rotates further. This produces the impression of flowing movement and greater liveliness. <IMAGE>
