Apparatus for the uniform metering of granular abrasive in pneumatically operated abrasive-blasting plants, having an abrasive-feeding system (11, 7, 8, 15) which can be controlled in relation to the amount fed over time. The abrasive-feeding system comprises a conveyor worm (8) which is arranged in a worm tube (7) and can be controlled in relation to its rotational speed and the receiving region of which adjoins the inlet connection (6) and the delivery region (15) of which ends directly at the mouth leading to the conveying pipe (13). To compensate for the pressure drop between storage tank (1) and conveying pipe (13), a connecting pipe (18) is provided between the conveying pipe and the closed tank. <IMAGE>
