Unit comprises a combustible casing e.g. a paper bag, which contains solid fuel e.g. charcoal and the ignition medium e.g. paper made from cellulose fluff pulp. The bag is sealed with a closure. Pref. the ignition medium is impregnated or coated with a medium which is easy to ignite e.g. paraffin. When the fire is to be lit, the bag is torn to expose the ignition medium to a naked flame. The medium then ignites the solid fuel. |
